TLDR: Brazilian fintech Inter&Co has secured the naming rights to the stadium of the Major League Soccer team Orlando City SC and National Women’s Soccer League team Orlando Pride, renaming it Inter&Co Stadium. The naming rights deal marks the first time a financial institution with Latin American roots has owned the naming rights of a major stadium in the US. The partnership aims to connect Inter&Co with Orlando’s diverse and young population, including the vibrant Latino community, through their shared love for soccer. As part of the agreement, Inter&Co will also be able to co-brand and co-create financial products with the Orlando teams, offer perks such as lounge access and cash-back rewards for sports apparel, and launch financial education programming in the community.
