UMaine Extension will offer a free, virtual farm finance workshop for farmers with at least five years of experience. The workshop will focus on how individual financial values impact business planning and will cover topics such as personal financial health, financial resources, and how personal values affect planning for the future. The workshop aims to empower farming communities and support agricultural growth in Maine. It will be led by farm coach Abby Sadauckas and business advisor Sylvie Boisvert, and participants will have the opportunity to explore personal time management and priorities, hear from other farmers about financial decision-making, and discuss individual and business values. Registration is required for the workshop, which will take place on February 28.
