The suspects were in a black Dodge Durango when police reached the scene. One of the suspects fled on foot but was later caught. Police found a stolen firearm in the area where he was arrested. Two others, ages 21 and 20, both Grand Rapids men, were arrested near the vehicle. Police found stolen credit cards, wallets, masks and pistol under the front passenger seat.
The suspects were held in the Kent County Correctional Facility on weapons offenses and resisting and obstructing police. Police said the residents’ calls to 911 were crucial to the arrests.
