Most banking professionals rely too heavily on spreadsheets, according to a new industry report from AutoRek. The report found that 78% of professionals in the industry believe their organizations rely too heavily on spreadsheets, and 71% said their financial controls are not robust or flexible enough for regulatory change or scrutiny. These findings highlight the need for operational processes that can keep up with the rapid developments and increased competition from fintechs and the rise of the payments industry. In an upcoming webinar, industry experts from FinTech Futures and AutoRek will discuss key findings from the report and outline the tech trends shaping the banking industry in the coming year, as well as current approaches to data management.
